When you are at Kedarnath. the most important place to visit is the Kedarnath Temple. This temple is around 1000 years old. which means it is standing here since the time of Mahabharat. This temple houses one of the 12 jyotirlingas and Panch Kedars. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and located at a height of 3,584 m in the Garhwal region of Himalayas.
