Project Description:

This magazine cover uses a polygonal illustration of renowned celebrity Shawn Mendes as the main image,with a complementing color scheme. This cover design contains all the elements idealy am magazine has like date, masthead , plug, numbers, headlines ,main headline ,price ,barcode,publishing time (weekly or daily) etc . It has use of of serif and san serif fonts i.e. , Garamond , Bahnshrift , playfair display (in masthead).The Barcode used is generated by corel draw Bar code generator.

Thought Process:

Shawn mendes is an iconic celebrity which is fit to be used as main image in the magazine. Polygonal art gives a different impression as compared to typical digital painting or vector illustration.It isa also a type of illustration and falls under the rules of competition , in simple words polygonal art is a different type of art with a appealing impact that's why used here. Strong San serif and Serif fonts like the classic garamond and bahnshrift are also a good combination and is very widely used .
